Boehner prefers consensus over conflict? :wtf:

GOP longs for Tom DeLay.»

Today, the Politico reports that House Republicans are frustrated with Minority Leader John Boehner (R-OH) and questioning his leadership abilities:

This source also said Boehner “lacks some of the killer instinct” of former Majority Leader Tom DeLay (R-Texas). “DeLay had a lot of problems, but he got the job done. Boehner needs a little more DeLay in him. He’s got to knock some heads,” said this source.

Boehner has taken a decidedly anti-DeLay approach since taking over the party in early 2006, preferring consensus over conflict. But the GOP’s recent slump had some members and aides reminiscing fondly about the days when “The Hammer” ruled the Republicans.

AMERICAblog’s Joe Sudbay writes, “Ah, the good old days. I suppose they miss Jack Abramoff, too.”

1. The GOP is so incapable
of learning from their mistakes! They actually want a redo of the loses of '06.

10. That's the only way they know how to get things done. But it's always short-term.
Boner's just an idiot. When I saw him on Snuffalopogus' show Sunday, he sounded like the blathering idiot I've known for nearly 20 years.

2. I've heard that excessive crying and weepiness is a symptom of painkiller abuse.

5. I've always pegged Boehner as a guy who carries a flask with him at all times.
His breath always stinking of whiskey and cigarettes.

But I also think there are lots of politicians on the Hillbilly Heroin.

11. He's also a womanizer.
I know some of his former colleagues from his days in the Ohio House. They said he regularly came in and left legislative receptions with women other than his wife in his arms.

I always wondered if Boner's one of the legislators that Larry Flynt claims to have the goods on. He just hasn't found the right time to spring it on the general public.

9. The GOP national leadership is going to be swept out after this election
They can't stave off the ass-whooping that's coming, and they'll eat their own very handily. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch, too. Ima grab some popcorn and watch it all go down.

Huh-huh, you said "frustrated with Boehner," huh-huh, huh.

12. Boehner needs a little more DeLay in him.
that's almost like an irishman asking a sweet young thing if there was any irish in her... and the irishman asking if she's like a little more irish in her...

now the scary images of a little more delay in boehner becomes apparent... god i need a drink.
