I Know Senator Kennedy would be most appreciative of anything you lovely, thoughtful Democrats would send him, but they would have to have someone organize the reception of those Teddy Bears, flowers, etc. and then donate them to area children.

Why don't we start a Teddy Bear brigade across America as a 'we're thinking of you, Senator Kennedy' gesture? Some Fire Departments keep Teddy Bears in their trucks to give to children who have been in accidents or who have had their houses catch fire, etc. I think it would be a nice way to take care of two needs.

Thoughts?

2. What a Nice Idea
We could go to our local newspapers or community organizations to get the word out and get people to volunteer.

6. That's a good idea, those who volunteer with local Democratic Parties could start there.
