We have an obligation to call this what it is — the false comfort of appeasement, which has been repeatedly discredited by history."

Why, it's William Borah, a republican senator. I'll repeat: a republican senator.

4. hE ALSO WAS one of McCarthys biggest supporters
right till the end. Although to give full disclosure, the people not voting for his censure were split between Dems and Repukes.
