Bush warns of Iraq disaster
President Bush warned in an interview Tuesday that the Democratic presidential candidates' plans to withdraw abruptly from Iraq could "eventually lead to another attack on the United States" and would "embolden" terrorists.

1. Whatever the outcome, it will be a consequence of going in.
Not of getting out.

Osama has cloned himself.

There are now 147 Osama bin Ladens and they're everywhere now.

Everywhere that there's money to be made and political points to be scored

13. Bush already tried to Saddamize America
The Saddam product won't sell, no matter how many times ChimpCo tries to retool it or re-brand it as a new-and-improved ChimpCo product.

14. Technically, no...
...remember 1993?

Regardless, with warnings and a previous attack, the GOP did nothing.

The GOP cannot be trusted to do what's best for this country.

Remember Katrina.

12. The nose of the plane stopped 10 ft from my desk on 9/11 in the Pentagon....
Edited on Tue May-13-08 10:13 PM by Heather MC
I could have died that day and so could my unborn child.
I say all that to say this
Bush is fuk head!

I actually felt sorry for Saddam Hussein and the fact is if we don't get a President in Office that can end this thing in judicious matter, no hard feelings, we give them money to help rebuild their country like we did Japan, Yes we will get a attacked again. But not anytime soon, years from now when the next generation is raised to hate Americans, and out children have jobs in the pentagon and hi-rise buildings. Bush will be off on a private Island, with his blood money, while we will be suffering.

I say we cut our loses and leave, Obama has always said, make Iraq people Use their resources to defend themselves. We have been over there changing diapers
time to see if the baby can shit without being told where to go!

If I blow off the doors of your house and proceed to ransack everything you own, would I be correct in calling you a sloppy housekeeper as I'm leaving?

16. There is process in getting a baby to use the potty you train them
Edited on Tue May-13-08 10:40 PM by Heather MC
In my "bad analogy" I was saying we need to train them to fight on their own not leave them high and dry. but that need to learn to stand on their own feet. We can't be over there forever
We helped rebuilded Japan we have responsibilty to help that country too. But help them get independant not more dependant

17. Your "tone" is that the Iraqis are to blame.
I disagree.

What exactly do you mean by "stand on their own feet"?

As long as the US is there occupying their country, there will be chaos.

The same would be happening if the roles were reversed.

21. Not at all, we are to blame, but we have to help them get stable
It's careful process not an overnight one
We have to our part to fix the Bush Cheney Hell they created. I don't think there will ever be a pretty way to end this. And that's sad. But We can't stay there forever.
