Alec Baldwin on 60 min Sun 5/11

I caught just about the last 5 min of the interview and gained a HELL of a lot more respect for Mr Baldwin than even I had before (which was quite a lot). He didn't take any shit from whatz his name (brain dead, can't think of his name) and answered every question even the "stupid" ones. He ought to run for public office.

2. I missed it last night. I just went over to 60 Minutes and the video is up there.

I just listened to Morley Safer's intro and it was horrible and mean! going to hear what Alex (yummmmm) has to say for himself.

BTW.. not too long after Baldwin's call to his daughter, I ran a poll here for parents asking them if they used similar language or even harsher to their kids. Overwhelming yes.

all the excuses in the world doesn't make up for the fact that he was despicable toward her. That tainted my opinion of him permanently.

He said (paraphrased) that although the call was to his daughter--it was really directed at his ex-wife who was keeping his daughter from him.
As one who has had misdirected anger in my life...I can relate to that...although, it was totally inappropriate (but I think he knows that).

My mother's second husband behaved like that. This thing really tainted my opinion of him.
