How far down are housing prices in your area?

How far down are housing prices in your area?
In my neighborhood, in Honolulu, people are ending up accepting prices that are 8-12% below asking price, when a short while ago, the sale price usually exceeded the listing price.

How about where you are?

1. I don't know the exact percentage amount, but I have been seeing
more "Price Reduced" for sale signs around.

4. A coworker bid on a 3 br home with complete landscaping,
corner lot, 2 car garage, hardwood floors and new appliances for $l30,000 in Sacamento where it would have sold for close to 400,000. There are 50,000 foreclosures in Sacramento alone, not counting the surounding areas. Those of us who own homes are truly screwed
