BREAKING: Bob Barr To Run For President
By: Blue Texan Monday May 12, 2008 10:30 am

The GOP's nightmare year just got a hell of a lot worse:

Former Republican Rep. Bob Barr is expected to announce that he's running for president as a Libertarian.

His candidacy would be a wild card in the White House race that many believe would hurt Republican Sen. John McCain.

You betcha.

1. I believe Ron Paul is going to be more of a danger to them...
...if he takes his supporters and splits with them (and, from what I've seen, most of them would follow him) the Repubs will be screwed.

Ron Paul is way more dangerous to them than Nader ever could be to us...

2. Technical Question
Isn't he running for the Libertarian Party nomination? In other words he still needs to get the nomination. I'm not to attuned to the activities of that party. Are there others running for that prized post?

5. Nader and Gravel, I believe.
Probably a few dozen other insignificant candidates.
