3. i always listen to OnPoint either thru WBUR or WPLN-AM (internet stream)

they were both funky today -- but i got most of the show without problem.

i didn't know that Moyers had a divinity degree, but now that i know that, it makes perfect sense. there's a softness in his voice that i've always heard in people who have that degree.

i also loved the part about him writing the letter to LBJ for advice on becoming a political journo...then working for him later. that's a wonderful story.

all-in-all, Moyers cuts such a non-confrontational swagger. it amazes me that he's such a lightening rod for criticism. goes to show, it's the controversial nature of his basic message -- that rule by money is tyranny.
