Who else isn't amused by the new fundraiser?

1. eh... that is pushing it tater. though most of us dont want to be punchin admn
and threads have come up stating that, .... this is a bit extreme.

most of us pacifists understand the silliness of the graph and have humor in it not seriously wanting to punch anyone

2. Unless it's a pie.
What ever happened to the pie in the face people anyway? They should ramp it up again.

3. As a crime victim who once had his face severely beaten ...
... I remain unoffended by the fund-raiser.

After all, it shows a Rube-Goldberg-esque mechanical boxing-glove puncher, not a stylized beating.

Vigilance is good. But this doesn't rise to the level of rudeness -- not for most people, I would guess.

7. In the case of the fundraiser, it isn't "happening" to anyone...
In the case of real life where it does actually "happen"...no, it isn't funny and, yeah, we prosecute that stuff.

8. I'm completely confused.
Edited on Mon May-12-08 11:42 AM by Marr
Am I supposed to feel like a cartoon punch is anything like a physical assault? Is a bloody nose supposed to make me feel queasy? I've been in hit the face (and elsewhere) more times than I care to recall, as I expect have many others here. A bloody nose is not a shocking visual, but it's presented here as if it's supposed to leave you reeling, like a photo of a dead child or something.
