of Arizona (and resident), I'm utterly, digustedly and completely outraged that the country could have allowed this mess to go on this long.

has pissed off even the Republicans because they are afraid the Arpaio protest vote will drag other Republicans down in defeat as well.

Hope for the best! Saban is well-known and has a great campaign running--if nothing else, Joey already seems scared that he might lose...

a lot of the Republicans here whoi fear he will drag down the ticket owing to the tremendous organized concerted effort by several groups to defeat him.

Saban is a good man who could have won in '04 had a well-known (and well-intentioned, but misguided) local disc jockey not run as an independent and split the protest vote. Saban's got lots of money and lots of well-organized groups backing him--wish us luck; we might get rid of the bastard at last this year!
