There seemed to be no organization whatsoever in getting life back to normal. The only organization provided was the National Guard with guns at their side -- we're talking about the suburban areas -- watching over lines of people waiting to get into Wal-Mart, where only an allotted number of people could shop at a time. They were everywhere: directing traffic where traffic lights were inoperable; public buildings, including hospitals.

I was around for Betsy & I know what real leadership can do to help a fast recovery. Politics was the name of the game for Katrina.
