Life Expectancy Drops for Some U.S. Women....
Chalk this one up to drive through eating troughs, cancer sticks and, most of all, poor education. Thank you Republicants for destroying America.

Historic Reversal, Found in 1,000 Counties, May Be Result of Smoking and Obesity

By David Brown
Washington Post Staff Writer
Tuesday, April 22, 2008; A01

For the first time since the Spanish influenza of 1918, life expectancy is falling for a significant number of American women.

In nearly 1,000 counties that together are home to about 12 percent of the nation's women, life expectancy is now shorter than it was in the early 1980s, according to a study published today.

1. That's what having it all will do to ya....
Jobs, kids, house, hubby, or any kind of social life that dosen't include kid's friend's parents.

2. Did you even read the article? Had you done so, you'd say "that's what smoking and not exercising
will do to ya."

Had you done so, you might have seen this quote "The downward trend is evident in places in the Deep South, Appalachia, the lower Midwest and in one county in Maine." I'm highly doubtful that the women in "the Deep South and Appalachia" are among those women trying to "have it all".

It talks about smoking and obesity as the prime contributors, not ambition and self-determination.
