FOX Poll: More Favor Congressional Defunding Of War Than Oppose It
Poll: More Favor Congressional Defunding Of War Than Oppose It
By Eric Kleefeld

A remarkable new poll finds slightly more respondents favor Congressional defunding of the entire Iraq war than favor continued funding. The new Fox News poll asked a stark question, devoid of any nuance: "If you were a member of Congress, would you vote for continued funding of the Iraq war or would you vote against funding the war altogether to try to force a withdrawal?" Forty-five percent said they'd vote against funding, while 44% said they'd vote to fund the war. While this is a virtual tie, it suggests that the political atmosphere is far more favorably disposed towards Congressional defunding of the war — or at least the escalation — than the conventional wisdom of commentators, and the actions thus far by Congressional Democrats, would suggest.

5. wtf
i think what is going on in dc , is if they end this dam war this nation will colapes from goods not being made for the war machines , i bet every state in this union are making something for this dam war , after that we have nothing but service jobs left , we need to tax these sob 's corperations for everything that is made out of country and force these job's back home , and then the dam head's in the sands people we sent to do the people's work will pull the plug on this dam war , and our country will have work to replace what is lost from the war machine

7. I read this last week and didn't believe it. I think it was the way
the question was phrased (maybe people took it to mean the opposite of what was said) and especially since the results of the other war questions were the exact opposite (if that makes sense!)

8. Now lets see them
hold that same poll only this time ask the international bankers and other members of the federal reserve.

That would be interesting news.
