Hey you racist freeper motherf***ers

You want to know why minorities hate and distrust the repuke party. Take a look in the mirror, assholes. I hope you choke on your own bile when Obama takes the oath of office

1. Whew. That is some deep doodoo over there.
"I've about had it with the black community" ... "worse off than they were before the civil rights movement" etc.

I need a shower.

9. They didn't!
I refuse to go over there. Too much self-respect I suppose.

Someone said they've about had it with the black community?!?

Hey fucker! What right do you have to say that you've had it with anyone?!? Who the fuck appointed you to be the keeper of what is right and good? I've got news for ya Sunshine, the black community has probably had it with you too!

God freepers are such fucking pricks. They're so convinced of their superiority, such egotistical needy self-centered jerks. They all think the world is supposed to suck up to them.

2. Ugh! That's just...well, awful doesn't quite describe it
:puke: Exhibit A:

"I'm sorry; I've really had my fill of the black community. Trillions of dollars in payouts and preferences and they are worse off than they were prior to the civil rights movement.

Add to that that after bending over backwards to appease blacks for crimes that no living white man ever committed they don't even have the decency to say 'thank you'. I've had it. They want to be Afican-Americans? They can get their happy asses on a boat and go back to the motherland."

Exhibit B (how mature):

"'Sponsoring Rep. Talibdin El-Amin...'

Stopped reading right there."

7. to be fair
that first comment appears to have been deleted and was challenged by two of them.

Worse yet, I feel the same way they do about apologies and reparations. Two of my ancestors died fighting for the North. The CSA owes me some money too then. And they are correct in that it was the Democratic Party which was supporting slavery and segregation until the 1950s or so.

8. Yeah, and maybe it was deleted
because of this thread. I've seen shit like that in freeperville before, and often it does just stay there. And two people challenging it is hardly anything to write home about. As for the dem party being the party of slavery and racism until the 50s, although that's true about southern dems, it certainly wasn't true of the dem party as whole. What's more during the fifties and sixties, the dixiecrats became repukes.

And although I understand that people may not support reparations, I find not supporting apologies, reprehensible.

15. What do I have to apologize for?
The worst I have is one ancestor, 12 generations back who engaged in slave trading as a ship captain. That's one ancestor out of 2048. Whereas two of my 8 g.g. grandfathers died fighting in the GAR, not to mention their brothers, cousins, and nephews who also fought and sometimes died. That's my complaint with apologies. Not everybody owes one.

18. We're talking about institutional apologies here
not personal ones. The thread in freeperville was about the state of Missouri debating an apology. Turkey should apologize for the Armenian genocide. Japan should apologize for certain war crimes. The U.S. should one day apologize for Iraq. It's not rocket science.

20. except that Missouri is not like Iowa
by which I mean that the descendants of the Missourians of 1850 have scattered across the globe. The people living there now, that Missouri currently represents include, two of my siblings and their children and spouses. Granted, they were living somewhere else 10 years ago, and probably will be living somewhere else 10 years from now, but for right now they are represented by Missouri and vice versa. People like them might not be the majority of Missouri, but they are there. Now if Missouri wants to apologize for being part of the CSA and taking up arms against the USA too, then they could be apologizees like the black residents of the state instead of apologizers. In the case of the war though, there was violence on both sides. I am sure many in the CSA did not own slaves either, but were just following orders and/or defending their homes.

10. Oh, I didn't see that.
Thanks - I wasn't brave enough to go back there and check. ;)

On the apologies and reparations issue, I can kind of see both sides. However, my problem isn't with their beliefs - it was the way some of them stated that belief in a racist manner. It's good to know that some of them do have some sense of decency, though. :) Peace.

3. One of the biggest reasons I'd support Obama if I lived in a state
that mattered in the primaries.

Let's have this out. Right here! Right now!

Let's let this country see the ugly face of Racism. That alone will change a lot of hearts.

god damn it, I have never understood how any HUMAN can be racist. We're the same fucking race, so how hard is it to freaking apologize for something that was obviously wrong?

What the hell? Do people honestly think ... wait. no they don't think. My bad.

Then again, I guess I can understand how someone should be proud for making the tough decision and hard work required to be BORN in a particular culture. </sarcasm>

The blood of a half million men is apology enough.
EXCELLENT COMMENT! That sums it up perfectly. BTTT

yes - it sums up how many were willing to die so they could continue owning other people.

Actually from where some of my ancestry is from where my Irish is based out of being "black irish" chances are someone of African descent were more likely to have had their ancestors enslave mine than the other way around.

I have more african blood in me than a lot of black people do.

Including my friend who has dark skin but is dominican. She is no more african than President Bush but people assume she is african american.

And what about white people with South African heritage? Aren't they African american?

what the fuck. I take back my comment about "stupid on tap" - they have a few tankers of it. Look dumb ass, 'black Irish' does not mean black in that way, and black people from the Dominican Republic are descended from Africans.

My husband - and Teresa Heinz Kerry - are both white, but are both African-Americans.

As for the rest of that crap... :puke:

21. no, I know that there are Africans of all colors
I also know that if you go far enough back, all humans are African.

But to add white South Africans to the list of people who were commonly enslaved, or to contend that Irish or Italian Americans had it equally bad - which is how I read that post - is ridiculous. Yes, many European people were oppressed, endured servitude, held a lower status, and faced hardships when they came here, but there was not a large and successful white slave trade in America's history.

5. I always wonder if any of the freepers realize how really pathetic they are.
Swaggering adolescents full of fake bravado and bluster pretending to be adults. Much like the boy now ensconced in the White House who feels compelled to prove his manhood by sending others to kill and die.

I'd feel sorry for them if they didn't do so much damage.

living today owned slaves, so all is well. actually, they resent this idea so much its obvious how deep the hate goes.

Damn, what was I thinking! That crap over there makes my head hurt, not to mention my stomach! (Terrible blog format, with content 100 times worse).

Still, its useful to be reminded from time to time of the horrible side effects of their special brand of kool-aide... and they've been drinking out of the big mugs lately!
