6. The futures were down on bad news from European markets.
The European markets were way down. Lost about 2% on average.

16. Please do not let Bush get near it, my retirement is in stocks.
my own bank called me when he got in office and told mt they were changing it so i would keep my money. I did not se the principal go down but my income went down for years until last Jan. I do not want anything to go wrong and every thing this man gets near goes to pot. Mediocrity is in style.

30. I saw him on tv yesterday....
saying something in Congress about how he monitors all sorts of indicators, like inflation, and bond rates.. Very defensive sounding. Um, dude, that's your job, isn't it?
