3. Flowers in the snow? I wish I could see that.
Where I live we're lucky to get frost in January, let alone snow in April.

5. I have seen snow in every month in the year here.
it's rather interesting to see flowers and trees in full bloom on labour day, with several inches of snow on them. and I have seen it 80 on christmas day

7. I know what you mean. florida drove me crazy.
can you possibly move? I have maintained for years that the limp dick state needs to be sawed off at the border and floated into the bermuda triangle, where it clearly belongs

maybe 5 or 6 years. UGH. Besides, it isn't JUST the weather I cannot stand about this state. Need I state what the political climate is like? New Yorker FOREVER.

14. believe me, I KNOW--I was on the phone to tallahassee every week, and
on daily calls to my local idiots. I knew I was in real trouble when I had to go all the way to tallahassee to find someone who knew what the hell recall elections are.

11. The fruit trees are blooming,
The hyacinths are pretty and smell good. The whole state is the middle of flooding. People are being told to leave their homes and go to higher ground. And it's going to freeze for at least 2 nights this weekend which will cancel all the flowers, all the fruit, and make removing water and mud from submerged homes difficult. ...I'm trying to get excited about spring. ...Really... ...I am.

19. I'd say 30' qualifies!
mine are about 18' and under attack from a very aggressive clematis that's supposed to live a few feet over but grabs onto everything in sight.
