Hey, did the shuttle just come in?
I just heard massive twin sonic booms here in Orlando, so I hope that was the shuttle!

7. Thanks! I just wanted to be sure
I'm used to hearing it in the morning, so it kinda took me by surprise!

8. I was outside hoping to see the burn-in.
Too many trees, though (not complaining).

Boom-boom, then chorus of barking dogs.

Safe landing, that's what's important.

12. Yeah, shook all the windows in my old 1920's house
I haven't heard sonic booms that were that loud since I lived in Kissimmee (which must have been closer to the flight path).

10. That's something I will look forward to...
...when I finally make it to Florida. Whether my dogs will find it equally cool is open to question, of course.

11. That is a fun memory of living in Daytona
The night launches were amazing even from there:)

Watching from the surf while fishing/surfing at night was outstanding.
