how to read the WSJ online for free
Please spare me any comments about how the Wall Street Journal is evil if that's what you believe. Either you want to read it or you don't. If you WOULD like to read it online for free, here's how:

I've tried it. Works perfectly. And perfectly legal. You have to be using Firefox for this.

2. yes, it does. It's a layer thing....
the more you're into computers and can understand the underlying process, the more you will understand, and see the potential uses for, the tool.

3. The actual news sections were fairly informative
and they had some good journalists (Daniel Pearl was a great example), but I have no idea if they have survived the Murdoch takeover. I remember reading that some were thinking of quitting and knowing Murdoch's tendency to use his media outlets to spout his propaganda, I'd guess he would have fired them anyways.

Their editorial section has always been garbage. So I don't think you would expect much to have changed there.

4. I don't believe he'll tamper with the brand...
He's in it for the money... and why screw with a brand that works?

5. I agree
People buy the Wall Street Journal to get accurate business news. If Murdoch started slanting that like he did Fox, it's readership would plummet.

Aside from its rabid wingnut opinion page, the WSJ is actually a pretty good news source.
