MRSA superbug reported at King County Jail

SEATTLE — The King County Jail had 65 inmates with the MRSA "superbug" in a five-month period ending in February.

A Seattle-King County health official says it's unknown if they picked up the infection in jail or already had it when they were booked.

The official, Dr. Jeffrey Duchin, says the 65 were among 20,702 inmates released from the jail in that period.

2. Oh my goodness! How terrible!

Hubby says all the time that the bugs are getting stronger every year. He's just plain exhausted these days--the flu season has yet to let up, and it's freakin' March! In fact, our family's down with some bug right now, and Hubby's finally in bed for a much-needed nap.
