The reason State Dept came out so quickly for full investigation...
is because they don't want someone else investigating this mess. This is a huge scandal. They can only hope that those lower level employees did not get orders from higher-ups? They came out quickly to try and put the cover over this mess. Also, ten minutes after Condi Rice came out to say she was going to apologize to Barack Obama, she issued a statement saying that Hillary Clifnton's records had also been "breached". Why didn't she tell the public that information 10 minutes earlier?? Get out your clothes pins - the smell is awful.

Washington Times journalist who called the State Department with the question in the first place. The WT is a Bushco newspaper. Looks like the dam was about to burst on its own.
