Every State & County Needs A Watchdog Group Like This
OK... Ive noticed you all have been dropping other threads on General Discussions like fly's if they are in the wrong forum. Your making me "gun shy" to even submit this.... :scared: If not, drop me down easy?

So, here goes. This just seemed to be interesting in its content from a press release sent to me this morning. It's a NATIONAL subject.

Press Release -

“Whoever PWDGroup is, they’re not afraid to air dirty laundry on every level of government. Last month, a corrupt county official, this month they exposed a shady casino-reality company deal. Next are court appointed attorney's who enjoy immunity"

If this unknown group of people set their sights on you, there is a very good chance you have done something that is unsettling in your community. PWDGroup seemed to appear out of nowhere several months ago and began exposing the dirty secrets of politicians, government officials and even nationally acclaimed big business corporations. To date, there is just one mans name and who knows if that is even real? Whoever Sam Webber and his band of researchers are, they are drawing national attention all the way up the ladder to the Senate and congressional offices in DC.

On one of there multiple websites and blogs across the country, they have managed to scoop the media on local and national levels. Its almost as if these news related stories are taken from articles that most publishers, news directors and editors pass on because of their sensitivity or the fact website and blog information does not fall under the same scrutiny or legal issues as the media.

Whatever their course and agenda, it has led to some very interesting reading. This month’s story on one WebPage titled, “Kanawha County Blog,” exposes an alleged deal between two nationally known property management groups (THF Realty and Hartman & Tyner) who are reportedly working on a merger that could either save, or bankrupt one small cities government. And reportedly, neither company cares as long as they can put this business deal together. PWDGroup states that their intent on relaying that story is just to make residents aware of what is going on behind closed doors.”

1. Most states and counties used to have something like that
It was called "The Press."

I wouldn't be surprised if there were a few local journalists moonlighting with that group.
