Storm warning for Atlanta and North Georgia DUers. More coming within an hour.
Radar shows it's coming in fast.

I posted a thread about this in LBN a little while ago, but a clever mod combined it with yesterday's old story.

Here's the storm Warning story:
http://www.democraticunderground.com/discuss/duboard.php?az=view_all&address=102x3227611#3227921

Atlanta gets hit by a tornado last night. Today there's a new bigger storm on the way within an hour or so and a completely different story. I post the NEW story as a warning to Atlanta DUers about the approaching storm and the thread is combined with the old story from yesterday.

6. Please stay safe, Georgians!
I read your other post, onehandle, & absent the "sarcasm" smilie, I'm sure your note at the end was sarcasm. My husband & I heard the same comments in Russellville, Arkansas, about Katrina "refugees", & even the realization that these backwoodsy comments stemmed from ignorance couldn't erase the hurt we felt upon hearing them.

Since being in a F5 as a toddler, I hate these things. Am fascinated by them, and really scared.

24. on the last pic..
why is the red box so far south of ATL? Looks like all the trouble is near ATL and north of it... It's not like the direction is flowing south, then I'd understand it better.
