You think ANYTHING from our Totalitarian Empire is EVER going to be a "significant symbol for the democratic world" again?

Nothing but the pattern of how we went from Liberty to Tyranny, much the same way we look at 1930s Germany so that it shall be learned that it should never happen again. Since it HAS happened again, let me just say I hope that future generations looking back in horror at the Imperial Amerika of the 21st Century do better than Old America (1776-2000, RIP) did when it looked back at Nazi Germany in horror in the hopes that it would never fall under tyrant's bootheel.

Hell, we aren't even IN the incredibly shrunken "democratic world" anymore.

No faith left to keep, but with a memory that grows remoter and less likely to arise every day.
