Dollar Falls Below 100 Yen, the First Time Since November 1995

TOKYO (AP) -- The dollar fell below 100 yen Thursday for the first time since November 1995.

The dollar slipped as low as 99.75 yen in Asian trading before bouncing back to 100.18 yen.

The U.S. currency has been declining amid growing worries about the American economy and a global credit crunch.

2. The main headline on BBC International this morning
is tumbling markets and the selling off of the dollar. The Carlyle Capital crash is the biggest worry according to the money men. They're calling it a blood bath in Asia. The dollar is falling like Bush's numbers and McCain isn't helping that mess.

How ironic that Asia is suffering when Carlyle is only a US and European problem. How funny that Carlyle is associated with the most evil of politicians.

I don't know whether to laugh or cry.
