Please Be Kind to Peace Activist for the next 5 days.
The 5th Anniversary is hitting us harder than we might think.
As the day went by I became increasingly sad. The last 3 weeks I have spent free time packed with emailing or calling or flyering about "Winter Soldier" "over riding Veto on Fisa" "Rally and March on Saturday against the War"..I did not realize how hard this anniversary would hit me, and it is only Wednesday. The 19th is the really anniversary, and so I have several days to go.
I work at a call center in a financial institute and surrounded by others who really don't care that it is the 5th anniversary. I'm also online as I work, I often have to google for info while I work. I see another explosion killed several soldiers.. that is 12 in 3 days, I see Code Pink protesting Condie Rice "blood is on your hands", I see British missle kills woman and children. Those beautiful woman and children.

5 horrific years, 5 years of death and destruction, 5 years of damaged souls that will never heal
5 years of our tax dollars to destroy other countries and our own country.

So please be kind, and give a hug if you see a tears roll down their cheeks.

Many of us aren't thinking of Gov Spitzer, or Ferraro, or even Obama and Clinton.

We are thinking "Why didn't we do more" "Why couldn't more Dems speak out" When will this end?

3. You are not alone in your weariness....
.

'Bridge Over Troubled Water'

Simon And Garfunkel

When you're weary, feeling small,
When tears are in your eyes, I will dry them all;
I'm on your side. when times get rough
And friends just cant be found,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

When you're down and out,
When you're on the street,
When evening falls so hard
I will comfort you.
Ill take your part.
When darkness comes
And pains is all around,
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will lay me down.

Sail on silvergirl,
Sail on by.
Your time has come to shine.
All your dreams are on their way.
See how they shine.
If you need a friend
I'm sailing right behind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.
Like a bridge over troubled water
I will ease your mind.

4. K&R-- the war against Iraq is issue #1 for me and will be until...
...the war criminals are all in jail. I don't give a rat's ass about the political smoke and mirrors the MSM and craven political cowards are using to obscure the war.

6. Thanks everyone I needed that.
I find it hard to talk to anyone at work. I am just keeping to myself.
Told them to give me till next week.. then I will be better.

It is just amazing how these people have done nothing.. no rallies, no marches, no phone calls, no petitions.

and they complain of having to pay increase property taxes, and a gas tax.. Amazing.

** I will be streaming in Winter Soldier all day.
