Search and google and DU

Today we get the new Google search thing up at the top right of each DU page. Also, if you click on the search icon, it takes you to Google/DU search. From there you can click on the old DU search page or advanced search.

I like having the search thing in the upper right, but would like to go directly to the old DU Search page when I click on the icon. I know, it only takes a few seconds longer to have it be google search and click again to old page, but would prefer it to go directly to the old DU search page. I'd like to go to the old DU search page and have "google" be an option there, not the default from the icon.

How about anyone else?

1. Since the Google search appears in the upper right on ALL pages...

...it seems unnecessary to be given the option of a Google search after clicking on the Search icon.

2. True, just added it in 'cause otherwise someone would complain I didn't.

Looks like this isn't much of a burning issue here yet. Maybe I should put some sexy word in the subject line. Oh well.

5. However, the search finction may have been entirely replaced with google.

That would have removed to search just one forum.

Go to google, advanced search, put in your term and DU and viola! Or would it be violet!
