4. Physical activity for a man his age....
...is a sign of weakness. He does all that gym rat stuff because it's easy. Intellectual activity is difficult especially at the level he is supposedly operating at.

5. I think he does it in an attempt to keep his addictions at bay..
I've known many people who've traded one addiction for another. This is classic pop psychology of the kind that he probably received in the late 70's from his "spiritual advisers".

I think it's probably failing at this point though.

8. Yeah I'd say that's a fair assessment
But he can get really fired up when what he is doing is bad for the country.

10. Maybe more smart than lazy. He's as lethargic as his attempt at humor
Marked by a lack of energy or by disinclination toward any effort

Can only the wealthy afford to be lethargic?

11. He was born on third base.

And that's the attitude that he has kept all his life ... "Why should I work for a living? I have other people to do that for me."

12. He's done as little as possible for as long as possible.
He is the definition of lazy. He never removed the silver spoon.
