Senator John Cornyn releases his military records!
After the Texas Republican Party demanded that Lt Colonel Rick Noriega disclose his military records, Senator John Cornyn was forced to do the same. Unfortunately for the Republican Party and the Chairman Tina "Tuna Fish" Benkiser Rick's service records (which he has made public) didn't contain the juicy tidbits of missing years of service like their own war hero's George W. Bush. In fact it contained the opposite:

4. More, from Noriega's press release:
"Rick Noriega's records detail a distinguished military career which includes service in Afghanistan, as "Operation Jump Start" Laredo sector commander on the Texas-Mexico border and as incident commander of the George R. Brown Convention Center refuge during Hurricane Katrina.

"There's a lot to be proud of in his record, and I think it will help for the people of Texas to examine it and see what a patriot he is," said Jon Soltz, Co-Founder and Chair of VoteVets.org.

In addition, Noriega looks forward in the upcoming weeks to contrasting his long track record of fighting for veterans in the Texas legislature against Mr. Cornyn's dismal record on veterans issues in the Senate, which includes twice voting against increased funding for veteran health care, against funding for armored vehicles, against increasing funding for TRICARE while allowing TRICARE fees to triple, and against protecting soldiers' civilian salaries while serving in Iraq."

I would love to see Cornyn defeated... I despise that creep. Yo, Texans, how is it looking?
