100 plus fake Wal-Mart receipts found
Here in Arizona we kinda make fun of Mesa, you know harmless lowlife, trailer trash type stuff. It's like telling Iowa jokes in Minnesota. Sometimes you just can't make this stuff up though. Isn't this like forging $1 bills or counterfeiting pennies?

A Mesa man was arrested Tuesday morning when police say they discovered bags of more than 100 counterfeit Wal-Mart, receipts which they believe enabled him to steal more than $1,500 worth of merchandise.

Patrick Chavarria was contacted by police through a search warrant after several victims and businesses provided video evidence of him conducting the thefts and frauds, according to reports.

Police observed Chavarria and an unknown female suspect drive to the Wal-Mart on East Southern Ave. where they watched the pair separate inside the store, place merchandise in each of their carts, and exit through the garden center.

1. $$$$
Theives could actually make some serious bucks this way.

I'm glad they were caught. Theft and "shrinkage" are almost always costs that are passed on to the consumer.

2. Those in Mesa make fun of those in Apache Junction
God I hated AZ. It was like the rest of Amerika, but with the middle class removed (or pretending to be upper middle class) and surrounded by desert. Between the constant sun and heat and the meth epidemic people go nuts there. Jerry Springer would have a field day.

I see that pick in your post, and I see a woman in the stocks in a puritan village. We've regressed to public humiliation, it's a great way to control the masses after-all.
