The NSA and spying on Americans
---

Do you think Bush and the Republicans bypassed FISA Law in order to, in part, spy on their political opponents?

Do you think that the FISA legislation, from the Bushites, to grant retroactive immunity for telecommunications companies is an attempt to stop lawsuits that might uncover these types of violations?

In other words, do you believe the spying on Americans was more than about looking for terrorists?

8. Yes I Do!
Richard Nixon had his enemies list, and used the IRS for information. The Vice President and the former Secretary of Defense are former members of that crooks administration. As far as I'm concerned only 29 members of the US Senate stood up for the Constitution and the rule of law.

9. Of course it was more than "terrorist hunting".. The primary reason
for hoovering up the info was and IS power retention. You can't do anything you want unless you're in charge of the most info.
