Support legislation that will crack down on the power of pollsters and polls |

Fewer polls. That's the goal.
1) One poll per polling organization per month.
2) Pollsters must sample at least 1000 respondents in a state, 2000 in a nationwide poll.
3) All data sets for each more must be made publicly availible, free of charge.
4) Media outlets are required by law to report margin of error every time they talk about a poll on the air.

I'm not sure about the reasons for the first one.
But unfortunately, I'm not sure that such legislation would be legal. Numbers 3 and 4 might be enforceable, but I doubt that number 2 would be.
