are that they are privacy issues. You leave your neighbor alone to do what he wants, and he'll leave you alone.
This general attitude is the same as the Golden Rule: Do unto your fellow humans as you would have them do unto you.
Many pacts made throughout the history of the world emphasize this attitude as well. Don't be nosy--don't put your nose in someone else's business. Don't gossip about things of which you know nothing.
Even as children, we're taught to say, "Mind your own beeswax."
Now, let me say this simple: "Don't stick your olfactory organ into the affairs of others."
Get it?
Got it?
Good.
Now if only the current regime could understand that highly simple notion, and if the religious right could learn to understand it as well, we'd be going gangbusters.
If they can't, however, I can put it an entirely different way altogether: Get the fuck out of my brain, body and soul. They're not yours, and your own house needs a radical cleaning up before you start going after me. Tend to your own demons, skeletons and preconceived notions, and we can talk when your own life is straightened out.
Over and out.
