Let's wallow a bit more. Let's get in line to expiate yet again.

Mea Culpa, Mea Culpa, Mea Maxima Culpa." Repeat as needed to make you feel better.

2. What, you don't feel guilty for SOMETHING? You're SUPPOSED to, you know.

5. The Republican Privilege Checklist
You don't have to think.
Faux Noise reflects your views, along with most of the rest of the MSM.
Your party is willing to do anything to win, including cheat.
You have Rush all afternoon to reassure you that your views are entirely correct.
If you disagree with someone, all you have to do is label them "coward" etc.
Wars are fought for your entertainment - you can sound tough from the safety of your home.
You can brag about how you earned everything you have and don't have to feel guilty about anyone not having enough - after all, it's their fault for being lazy.

7. I don't think it's necesary to interpret awareness as guilt.
Did I earn the privileges I have as a white person? No. Do I feel a little guilty about that? Sure.

However, understanding that the things that I can take for granted aren't shared by everyone can only clarify my understanding of my role in institutionalized oppression and help to arm me in the fight against it.

YMMV.
