This is about the process, not the candidates. I placed it here thinking it is non controversial. If I was wrong, I'm sorry.

Dems hope to build on momentum from caucus

LINCOLN — Are Nebraska Democrats on the verge of a revival?
Despite the logistical nightmares and the overflowing school gymnasiums Saturday, the state Democratic Party's first-ever caucuses were hailed by party officials and others as a crowning success.
The caucuses energized the party faithful, boosted party registration and brought forth Democrats in counties where the party has never gone before, said Eric Fought, spokesman for the state party.
It was probably the best news the party has received in the past decade, save for the two victories of U.S. Sen. Ben Nelson — the Nebraska Democratic Party's sole statewide elected official.
The Democrats not only captured national attention in the presidential campaign, they also expect to pick up more than 7,000 newly registered members by the time the paperwork is filed.
"This was beyond our wildest dreams. This is, by far, one of the high points of our party's history," Fought said.
