Now that their father has suspended his campaign, they will be free to do what they were obviously so devoutly wishing to do, and what Mitt obviously feels they should do, because they no longer have their campaign work for their father holding them back.

That's right. They can now sign up with the military and go help fight in Iraq.

This can only be what he really meant when he said that he could not let his campaign contribute to a "surrender to terrorism."

He realized that as long as he kept campaigning, his sons would stay loyally by him, rather than helping their country fight terror as he believed they should.

So, he set them free.

What a wise man.
