Well, this is kinda fucked up...

GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. -- He wasn't dressed like a police officer, but his message came straight from the police department: "Don't run red lights."

Officer Patrick Rice with the Grand Junction Police Department spent two hours Thursday on the corner of 12th Street and North Avenue in Grand Junction holding the sign.

He was dressed more like a homeless person or a war protestor, but drivers who paid attention to his sign saved them themselves a ticket.

What kind of asshole wrote that little piece?

1. Maybe a t-shirt and jeans?
Instead of a nice business suit like a real American.

Here's the pic

I looked it up to see if he had on a "Make Love Not War" T-shirt or something. Nope. He was dressed like any other person would be on a cold day except for the sign.

The writer of that piece is an idiot who generalized two groups of people who hold signs.

3. Badly written, yes - but a clever idea.
I lived in GJ for quite a few years . . . we called the local paper the "Daily Senile" (just to put things in a little perspective!)
