since the media still calls him a democrat and all, makes it seems that way.

i have yet to hear the media call lieberman just an independent...
every outlet calls him "Independent DEMOCRAT"

5. He will work to ensure their cooperation with the Republican agenda, same
as Chimpy's done for 7 years. Chimpy and the Dems have worked WONDERFULLY together.

7. Suuuuuure he will
"Senator Obama and Senator Clinton want to surrender. They want to wave the white flag. They want to set a date for withdrawal. My friends, that means surrender and I will never surrender as president of the United States!" McCain cried.

Sounds like Bush III to me.

8. That convinces me
I wasn't sure I would bother to vote in Nov. if one of the remaining candidates becomes the nominee.
This quote is a good reminder of why any Democrat trumps a warmongering Rethug.

9. Ever listen to a full campaign pitch by him? Too many "my friends..."
That phrase is sprinkled liberally (ha ha) throughout every speech he gives lately. This is emblematic of the conservative approach, that they preach this I am your buddy, I am one of you" rather than ever addressing the issues themselves. It is a sad commentary on this nation that a good 35-40% of the public votes for someone because he'd be a good guy to have a beer with.

22. Just like Bush says "I unnerstand" about shit..
that he has no fucking clue about, McCain calls people that he has complete disdain for "my friends". It's rather transparent.

26. Bush III EXACTLY. Take it from an Arizonan--you probably don't know the half of it.
He hasn't a principle to call his own, he's been a political tool of local big biz since he ran for Representative, his crowds are hand-picked even when they are "non-partisan," and he's happily in tthe pockets of most of Arizona commerce--including the ones that exploit cheap labor for fun and profit--he's about as against migrant workers as Bush II was.

The local press HATES him due to his temper; the "anchors" love him--the field reporters and production crews LITERALLY draw straws to keep from getting the assignment.

Oddly familiar, that...

12. It's an interesting statment
Cause I don't know that many on our side of the fence who would believe such an offer, but just making the suggestion is enough to enrage the right wing.

To the Rush Limbaughs of the world, we are to be defeated, not gotton along with.

13. Exactly, liberals belong in Gitmo, not reached across to.
We are the enemy of neo con America, the very idea of reaching across the aisle to D's is dismissed outright.

18. How much longer until NPR's Cokie Roberts reports on McCain's "charm offensive?"
Like she did eight years ago with Bush?

Does McCain like to give nicknames?
