There's nothing wrong with being rich
There's also nothing wrong with making the rich pay 70% of their income in taxes.

It's called fair and equitable wealth distribution for the good of all of society.

The good of society when it comes to
- Health care
- The environment
- Education
- Infrastructure
- Social programs

I question anybody here who is against, say, taxing Donald Trump at 70%, because that is not a progressive or liberal position. This is supposed to be a site for liberals and progressives, not corporate fascists.

Every other country in the world that makes the rich pay their fair share enjoys a higher quality of life. Low crime, high literacy rates, free health care, clean environment.

Just because the corporate fascists that control America say it would be bad to tax the rich, doesn't make it so. Stop believing their lies.

Like I said, there is nothing wrong with being rich. I hope to be rich one day, just like everybody else. Capitalism allows people to pursue their dreams and potentially make millions or billions of dollars and it is what drives innovation and leads to a better standard of living for everybody.

BUT THAT DOESN'T MEAN THE RICH OUGHT NOT TO BE FORCED, YES, FORCED TO GIVE UP A FAIR AMOUNT TO THE REST OF SOCIETY, FOR THE GOOD OF SOCIETY.

And when I'm rich, I won't whine about it. Because I'm a liberal.

4. I hope the rich continue to fight paying their fair share, but then I'm a guillotine manufacturer.
Even selling them at discount, I'm gonna make a killing!

5. Thank you!
And even if we did, somehow we'd still manage to have rich people with very happy lives. The same government that provides the environment for them to get insanely rich in, can tax them an appropriate amount as well.
