Has he imparted wisdom? Cleverness, even?

Granted, he dosnt often offend, because he dosnt often say anything worthy of attention.

If mediocrity is the goal, David Brooks is mediocrity made flesh.

4. He's worthless

I listen to him opposite EJ Dionne on NPR each Friday just because I can't believe that anyone so lifeless could actually stir enough air to be picked up by a microphone.


True story: I once met him at a brunch in Ithaca, and while standing next to him at the buffet I accidentally spilled some vanilla pudding on him. It was indistinguishable from his general blandness.
