So like; I have a question...
Is there ever a situation where you would knowingly give up your right to vote?

As much as I would like to leave that question hanging out there just like that...

I ask because I am making choices for myself that beg this question....

So I ask, would you make a choice that surrenders your right to vote???

One more thing. I will make whatever choice is best for me...

I just happen that I love being presented with a wide range of views and opentions...

Then making my choice for my fucking self...

1. My vote is the only thing I have as a stake in this Country.
It is my only voice. The only think of value that I can bring. If I didn't have my vote, I would have no reason to stay in this Country.

4. That is the fault of the Education System. When "civics" became
1/2 hour of Social Studies during the last quarter of 8th grade.. People stopped being told what their duties as a Citizen were.

7. I would never voluntarily give up my right to vote. I intend to keep my American citizenship as
that's the only way I'll ever receive my Social Security after I leave the country. As an American, living abroad, I will retain my right to vote and will use it.

8. I'm both cheap and a pragmatist.
I'm both cheap and a pragmatist.

Offer me $10,000,000 and I'll not only give up my right to vote, I'll leave the country and never return. And enjoy all of it.
