The ball is in the President's court. He'll either have to extend the temporary legislation "for one week, two weeks, maybe longer" or "there will be no spying".(At this point there was some scattered applause in the room)

"And it doesn't matter how many speeches he gives, even the State of the Union. If he says we're blocking everything, well, that's just disingenuous."
