5,000
Today the total coalition fatalities in Iraq and Afghanistan has reached 5,000. Yes, this is just another arbitrary milestone, but it is one we should never have reached.
Iraq: 4,238
Afghanistan: 762
Total 5,000

3. But they killed 3000 people on 9-11
Great, so now they have killed more than were killed on 9-11 through their war policies. But don't stop now, you haven't achieved total domination yet. Of course you never will. Hmmmm, could that mean that what you are killing people for is pointless? No, Saddam is gone, even if that wasn't the reason you went in.

The pic up on cspan set me off to a bad start to my morning.

6. It was tony snow
at one of those fabulous values oriented george bush administation press conferences. "Just a number." And, as if on cue, limbaugh jumped to his defense when the heartlesness was questioned.

8. No, fatalities in Iraq and Afghanistan are closer to 2 million. What you cited is American
fatalities totals.
