Wolfowitz Returns to U.S. Government as Adviser

http://thelede.blogs.nytimes.com/2008/01/24/wolfowitz-returns-to-us-government-as-advisor/?hp

Paul D. Wolfowitz, who resigned as World Bank chief after serving as second-in-command at the Pentagon, has returned to the Bush administration, albeit in an advisory role. From a short news release put out this afternoon:

The Department of State is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr. Paul Wolfowitz as the Chairman of the Secretary of State’s International Security Advisory Board.

As we said when the job offer was reported in December, the board meets quarterly to provide advice to the secretary of state and one of her deputies based on classified intelligence on some of the most important issues in United States foreign policy today, from Iran to North Korea.
His experience in arms control issues stretches back to the 1970’s, but his role in the Iraq war was the basis of last month’s criticism of the reported appointment. Mr. Wolfowitz is also a visiting scholar at the American Enterprise Institute, a conservative think tank.

Preceding Mr. Wolfowitz was former Senator Fred Thompson, who resigned as chairman in the summer to run for president. But his successor wasn’t appointed until two days after his campaign crashed and burned on Tuesday.

4. Strategic move for the coming War in Iran
Why are they keep on pushing the non-existing nuke in Iran story and why are they constantly pushing for a nuke-first scenario. The official reasons do not make sense and the bunker buster story is a piece a crap as well. A much more important reason is that you cannot occupy a country unless you manage to capture the capital.

Baghdad was still reasonably simple however that mega city is still in chaos and a large amount of soldiers are trapped behind a wall in the center of the city which is constantly being shelled by "insurgences." If 100,000 soldiers can't control Baghdad, what about Tehran?

Tehran will be far more difficult. Not only is Tehran is a city of 7 million people like Baghdad, it is far better defended with much more sophisticated weapons, an underground metro system, 280 km of highways with a further 120 km under construction and two major airports, it has a far more difficult obstacle. The name Tehran means "bottom of the mountain" and the north side of the city is totally surrounded by the Alborz mountain range.

In short Tehran is impossible to conquer unless ... the city is nuked from the face of the earth thus instantly killing a million or so and have the other 5 million on the run thus enabling the bombers and tanks to take the city.

Wolfy is of course very important in this planned crime against humanity...
