DANGER, Will Robinson!!! When the GOP Talks about Tradable Pollution Credits...
Edited on Thu Jan-24-08 10:12 PM by CorpGovActivist
... ask: but who will run the http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dtcc+clearinghouse">clearinghouse that keeps track?!?

Can we afford http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=dtcc+stockgate">Creditgate? (Hint: don't locate the clearinghouse's servers near sea level, so that a thorough after-the-deluge audit can be done.)

The devil (and the danger) is in the details, Will Robinson. People do still remember http://www.google.com/search?hl=en&q=enron+fake+energy+trading+floor">the fake energy trading floor at Enron, right? Right?

1. Tradable Pollution Credits also known as
yet another way to screw the people out of even more money and then blame them when they have no more money

2. Fake Accounts and Counterfeited Credits...
... would be the least of the problems. I'm more concerned with extreme climate change, with most Americans blissfully believing that the credits market has it all under control.

A .75 rate cut won't stop a sea surge, know what I mean?
