3. Yep. NOT in favor of giving payroll taxes to stock brokers to play with.
Workers who can afford to make investments can do that. Forcing the ones who cannot afford investments to make them is just one more form of corporate welfare bankrolled on the backs of those who get the least from capitalism.

Not unlike forcing workers who have been losing real wages for years to buy insurance they can't afford in order to keep working and being further exploited by greedy corporations that don't/won't understand that people making decent wages circulate more money and we all do better.

4. I work in the financial industry
Back when the Republickers were talking about creating retirement investment accounts, EVERYONE I worked with opposed the idea VERY STRONGLY. And mind you, these are the very people who would have made money under such a scheme. Nowadays they are even more strongly against this idea, after seeing what Bush has done to this country.
