Saw a great bumper sticker yesterday...
"There's no flag large enough to cover the shame of killing innocent people."

Plain black text on a white background. Seen on a big ol' pick-up truck.

1. That one must really send brainwashed haters into terrific fits of lynch mode mentality
My favorite bumper sticker is:

At least I'll be in the same concentration camp as my favorite writers.

3. In the same parking lot, we saw a Hummer w/ a crucifix hanging from the rearview mirror
My daughter thought my "What Would Jesus Drive" crack was hilarious.

11. Yes, the bottom line of the sticker attributed the quote to Howard Zinn
My apologies for omitting that.

14. I had that one too. It was okay in Maryland, but we removed it when we moved to Virginia
I bought it for myself but, as soon as my wife saw it, she said she wanted to put it on her car. I was so proud of her, I gave it to her right away. I have "Who Would Jesus Bomb?" too. I match it with "America: One Nation Under Fraud". All of my stickers are on magnetic backing so I can match my mood for the day.

15. I saw a bunch of crap today
as a matter of fact. It was in Massachuetts, of all places! The whole back of the van (and upper conversion) was covered with fundie stickers (Jesus ?, some with something about not being born of the earth, but of the guy who created it, etc., and a HUGE handwritten (not in fingerpainting, though!) "Evolution is a Lie." There were enough of those plastic fish things on it to start his own shop, and looking into the driver's side, caught a redneck type (sunglasses at 4:30 in the afternoon, cowboy hat, big, full facial hair--None of those descriptions alone is significant, but together, whoa!)

It makes me wonder how about 1/3 of the whole country can even be considered evolved, when they don't act like it, and certainly challenge the whole concept enitrely.
