Strange analysis of presidential debates
Look at the trend line for the presidential debates....we the people are being talked to as if we were 8th graders.

1. ....we the people are being talked to as if we were 8th graders.
Im old enough to remember when Presidential debates allowed candidates to frequently ask each other questions, and gave 2-4 minutes for responses, which showed the real differences among them.

Now we get some news guys who arent used to critical thinking being the only people allowed to ask direct questions, and the candidates only get 30 seconds to a minute to answer.

I not only blame the entities holding the debates (usually corporate owned network TV), but I blame the modern campaign managers who are more image consultants than actual managers, as they're deathly afraid of a "gotcha" moment that will sink their guy or gal and cost them their job.

2. We need a TV show to prove we're "Smarter than a 5th Grader", what do you expect?
wait..isn't that show aired on one of the big cable channels ... I see now, it's a real compliment to be called as smart as an 8th grader.

3. they need companion if you can talk like 8th grader you can be President
and we'll be able to see what the country is made of.

Hell, the audience can vote on the best speaker (entire presentation not mere word analysis).
Wouldn't that be fun.

But actually we already do that.
Candidate 1: wooden
Candidate 2: someone you would like to have a beer with and exchange BS
