When faced with a MAJOR scandal - do nothing.

Don't acknowledge, don't answer, don't offer an opinion. They've usually cooked up a doozie of an excuse by this point in any bad news scenario.

They've obviously been told to shut up about the matter because they KNOW it's unforgivable.

Just another example of the marching in lockstep "rugged individualists" that make up the Bush conservatives.
