Regarding CBS's Primary Questions Segment

Regarding CBS's Primary Questions Segment
I like the format as Couric is asking identical questions to the candidates and as far as I know, the candidates aren't aware of how the others answered. I believe this could be a good format in a formal debate, put them all in sound proof booths and ask identical questions, giving them equal time.

But the other point I would like to make is that CBS or Couric should clarify to the candidates what the question is, if they don't understand it.

Tonight for example she asked "What was the worst advice the candidate had ever given someone?" Some of the candidates answered or tried to answer the question as asked, but the others flipped the question as if it were "What was the worst advice they had received?"
