Early morning post for the international crew!
I thoroughly enjoy DU when everything has calmed down a bit.

And you?

1. In the last 24 hours, things HAVE gotten a little nicer around here...
...some of the "Usual Suspects" were kicked out (finally), and I think everyone else is just fatigued.

No telling what tonight will change...

2. Now that´s good news, I was beginning to wonder.
I thought maybe Walmart was having all night sales again.

3. It's a little intimidating when
so many knickers get twisted, but I respect the passion.

4. I agree with you ... what is exactly " a twisted knicker"?

5. Translates there to underpants in a knot or
bunched panties.

6. Something like "getting your panties in a wad"?
Yes, I agree.

It´s interesting to see how much "passion" can be shown with typed words.

Do you have a favorite candidate yet, seeing the USA from "the other side"?

7. Exactly! Panties in a wad - that's it!
I live a good part of the year in Ireland and the remainder in America (dual citizenship). Hillary is the favored candidate here ONLY because Bill Clinton is revered here. You don't even want to know what is thought of bush here! I would very much like to see an Edwards/Obama ticket. Ireland is still, for the most part, run by the catholic church but it seems that religion is injected into politics there much more than here.

8. There was an interesting thread yesterday on this topic
It´s about using churches as polling stations.

I was surprised to read the messages, maybe this will be interesting for you too.
